What more impress is capturing 23 young and exciting talents out of 24 mill population. The scouts have been doing a great job. The young keeper Fahmi almost did no mistakes. Malaysia’s No. 1 goalkeeper is booked for you from now on.
Safee the striker. Positioning, flair, pace and finishing. Very effective. Very sharp. The Golden Boot is yours! Once again, Congratulations!
For Garudas, better performance compare to away match. Started the game with full determination and pressing 3/4 of the pitch.
Chances are plenty with poor finishing. Firman penalty miss – overall he is underperform. Gonzales two free headers are out of the woodwork. Irfan’s attempt also too weak and easy for the goalkeeper.
Ridwan was a weakness – sorry to say this. Both legs he did not show that he is National team material. Fell down twice. Miscommunication with players who opened up space for him. To make it worse, been disposed over and over again.
On the other hands, Riedl has found some bright players which have not been exposed before under his predecessor. Bustomi, Nasuha, Zulkifly, Hamka, Yongki and Kurnia Mega. Especially for Bustomi, his aerial coverage is filling a hole in National team for the last 4-5 years – If I could recall. He is an asset for the team.
Enough writing! The New Champion is born! They have reached something they are qualified for.
